Theory and practical knowledge from faculty who are industry experts in their own fields train you for careers in the gem & jewellery industry, as professionals and entrepreneurs. Internship, in the final year, is an important part of the training. Placements in leading jewellery companies, are assured. IIGJ offers two Degree programmes.

IIGJ's Post Graduate Diploma programme curriculum is designed to empower a graduate in any stream to pursue an interesting and lucrative career, or become an entrepreneur, in the fast-growing and dynamic gem and jewellery industry. This programme is also particularly useful for those who want to manage a family jewellery business. The student learns processes in manual and CAD jewellery designing, manufacturing, gemmology and merchandising along with management concepts. Diploma programmes are for those who have passed 12th Class (Undergraduates) and are looking for medium duration programmes in a specific field of jewellery. These programmes in Manual Jewellery Design, CAD, Manufacturing and Gemmology aim to give a solid foundation in any of the subjects chosen.

IIGJ's Certificate Courses are offered in a variety of gem and jewellery topics to suit different requirements. These are of short duration and are useful for all who wish to learn something new in jewellery or to upgrade existing skills.
