26.9.2021, Mumbai: Glimpz is the culmination of the graduating students’capstone project in their 3rd year and features their jewellery collections, created right from visualisation & design to manufacturing & display. Every aspect of their studies for the 3-Year degree course is covered in their journey from day 1. A 3-day exhibition of these pieces with displays done by the students and judging by an external jury panel, ends with the award ceremony for best pieces in various categories. Usually a glittering event, Glimpz 21, held at the Institute from 23rd to 25th September 2021, was attended by a host of dignitaries – IIGJ Mumbai Board Members as well as by Mr. Somasundaram PR (Chief Guest, CEO, World Gold Council), Ms. Nirupa Bhatt (Advisor GJEPC Education & Labs), Mr. Mavji Bhai Patel (MD, Kiran Gems), Mr. Sukumar V (GJEPC – Education & Labs) as well as by parents and well-wishers.
