The Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery Jaipur was formally inaugurated on 13th December 2010 by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Ashok Gehlot.
IIGJ Jaipur, is a project of Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, and Government of India with support from Government of Rajasthan (RIICO) and is a pioneer institute for the Gems and Jewellery sector with a strong focus on Design, Technology and Management. It is a Non-Profit organization solely committed to excellence in Gems and Jewellery sector Education and Training.
The Pink City of India- Jaipur for decades has been regarded as a global hub for the most exquisite gemstones and jewellery. Being the city of jewels, Jaipur also houses the largest and the finest gem cutting industry of the country. Indian Institute of Gems and Jewellery, Jaipur (IIGJJ) is privileged to be situated in this epicenter of the world’s coloured gemstone industry.

Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Ashok Gehlot laid the Foundation Stone for the hostel building for boys and girls on 18th August 2012.

IIGJ JAIPUR CAMPUS
IIGJ was established in the year 2009. The 4536 sq. m.building is constructed on the land provided by RIICO in Sitapura Industrial Area, and was inaugurated on 13th December 2010 by Hon'ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Ashok Gehlot.

IIGJ JAIPUR HOSTEL
IIGJ Jaipur hostel was inaugurated by Hon'ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Ashok Gehlot on 2nd November 2019. It is built on the land measuring 3500 sq.m allotted gratis, by RIICO. Funds for construction of the hostel building funds were sanctioned by Dept. of Commerce, Govt. of India under the ASIDE Scheme and GJEPC’s contribution.
