DIGITAL CLASSROOMS

The Design Rooms at IIGJ Delhi, used for theory and design lectures, are spacious and well-lit, providing a relaxed working atmosphere. The lectures are supported by modern audio-visual teaching facilities. The workshops and machine rooms are fully equipped to accommodate most hands-on metalsmithing and jewellery making practices.

COMPUTER ROOMS

The CAD labs at the Institute have an overall capacity of 15 computer stations with licensed 3D design software. The computers are well-configured, suitable for the latest design software.

WORKSHOP

The manufacturing workshop at IIGJ Delhi is very well equipped with machines of the latest technology in the industry. Laser welder and laser marking, engraving and cutting are other state-of the-art facilities available. Students are able to learn all the processes using the latest in tools and equipment.

LIBRARY

The library is an important part of the Institute for students to conduct their research and documentation work. It houses books on design, from tribal to modern western style jewellery and gemstones, as well as books about other design specialisations, such as, Architecture, Textile, and Industrial Design and a variety of books on Gemmology. It also has a wide range of the latest jewellery trade magazines, and others as well.

The Institute is governed by a legally constituted Board of Directors all of whom are members of GJEPC. All founder members as well as the Directors on the Board have strong ties with the jewellery industry and are impartially committed to furthering the Institute’s goal and mission.
