FAQs

What courses does IIGJ offer?

IIGJ provides a comprehensive range of programmes including Degrees, Post Graduate Diplomas, and professional courses in design, CAD, manufacturing, gemmology, and gemstone cutting. We also offer specialised training for industry professionals.

Eligibility for Degree and professional programmes is successful completion of Class 12, while Post Graduate Diploma programmes require a Bachelor’s degree.

  • Class 12 or Bachelor’s Degree certificate (Self-attested, as applicable)
  • Self-attested photocopy of Aadhaar Card
  • Two recent passport-sized photos

 

Fees can be paid online, via cheque, or through bank transfer. Please note, cash payments are not accepted.

Students at IIGJ can enjoy industry visits, study tours, participation in jewellery trade shows, college festivals, sports days, and a variety of competitions and activities.

Classes run from 9 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.

Yes, all students must maintain a minimum of 80% attendance.

Our campuses are equipped with air-conditioned design studios, state-of-the-art CAD and gemmology labs, manufacturing workshops, libraries, Wi-Fi, licensed software, and spaces for classrooms and student activities.

Yes, students in Degree and PG Diploma programmes are required to undertake internships with jewellery companies as part of their studies.

With a growing demand for trained professionals in the jewellery industry, IIGJ graduates can pursue numerous and diverse careers in design, manufacturing, and retail in the major jewellery hubs across India and internationally.
